The project aims to empower Turkish parents of lesbian, gay, trans*queer, intersex people.
The focus of the project is a moderated parents' group. In addition, individual counselling is to be offered and topic-related seminars are to take place. Here the parents are to be informed about the emergence of sexual identities and orientations and shown ways of action.
The aim is to strengthen the parents in standing by their children's sexual identity and to support them. The parents should get to know existing networks, but also network with each other and be accompanied competently with all questions.
