The Welcome to Work Office (WiA Office) Spandau is a first point of contact for refugees and immigrants on the topics of education and employment. The WiA office brings together the competencies of various actors, as mobile educational advisors (also especially for women), mobile job advisors, job coaches, migration counsellors and integration pilots support refugees in shaping their educational and professional careers and provide them with important information and assistance in achieving their professional goals.
The counsellors in the WiA office identify qualifications and competencies, point out paths to education or the labour market for refugees and immigrants and arrange suitable offers. They advise, for example, on the application process (such as cover letter and CV), further education or training, the job search and much more.
Advice is also available in other languages such as Arabic, Persian, English, Russian, French, Bulgarian, etc., as required.
