Ankommen in Spandau: Mobile Sozialberatung

The Mobile Social Counselling acts as an interface between the institutions and services of the district of Spandau and the people seeking advice. The staff of the mobile social counselling work as a first point of contact and act in the sense of referral counselling by presenting existing counselling centres and institutions to those affected, establishing contact and, if necessary, accompanying them to facilities.

Counselling is provided in German and English. If there is a need for translation, integration guides from our provider can be consulted.

The services offered by the Mobile Social Counselling include the following areas:

1. mobile social counselling as an independent interlocutor for the various concerns of homeless immigrants.
2. referral counselling and mediation in the regular structures of the district (e.g. housing search, health, language, family and leisure)
3. support in communicating with authorities and institutions and, if necessary, accompaniment to them
4. counselling is mobile and can take place on site at GIZ premises or at partners' premises in Spandau.
